SquidBrite is a Fantastic Work Light!! June 21, 2009 C. L. Buckler (Pacific Northwest) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This flashlight makes many DIY chores far more enjoyable. For example-fixing a leaky pipe in a bathroom or kitchen cabinet: the legs are quite flexible and can be wrapped around a pipe and aimed at the problem area; the light is bright and steady. Have you ever had someone trying to be "helpful" by holding a flashlight for you? This light eliminates the frustration to both parties involved...No, a little more to the left..no, now it's in my eyes!..etc. Also great for working on your car. It is rechargeable, has a high/low option, plus a flashing mode. The built-in magnet is fairly small, but strong, a larger magnet would be an improvement. You cannot go wrong by adding this light to your toolkit.
Just the light I was looking for April 10, 2010 Judson T. Hanson 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I have looked and looked for a light to read by in bed that would allow me to lay on my right or left side. I saw this at Walmart and decided to give it a try. It is a great!!!!! Of course, it would also be great to stand on a couch-side table. My headboard is semi-solid, so I just wrap the legs around the metalwork wherever I want and turn it on. When I need to recharge it, I leave the base on the bed, plug in the light itself by the outlet and walk away. I can recommend this product without any doubts.
Great Work Light January 1, 2010 Mr Pink 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this little tool I received as a Christmas gift. The ability to light a work area properly in vehicle repair has always been frustrating for me. Under a dash or in any other dark area you can struggle to get a light to stay positioned without having it get in your way. I've tried all kinds of work lights and I've had to fight them all. This tool puts out a strong powerful beam of light-- with out any bothersome heat-- that can be put in most any position and it will stay in position. It doesn't render other work lights I use obsolete but in close quarters in dark areas it can't be beat. It's a wonderful idea and design that makes my job easier and I plan to get another one for the house.
In daily professional use I have doubts about the longevity of the base being able to maintain tightness where the legs connect as it does seem kind of flimsy, but with careful use it should be OK. BTW, the head is removable from the legs.
a suprisingly useful tool March 8, 2010 nookers 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
we won this at an auction....just bidding cuz no one else had bid on it and we figured why not? anyway, everyone laughed when we brought it home and said WHY?!? BUT....now the joke is on all of us, because this product is used at least once or twice a week for some one to do some thing! everything from messing with the hook-ups behind the tv, to going out to get lettuce out of the garden at night, to working on the car, to doing plumbing under the sink. it's just plain a good idea. we highly recommend it. its sorta like a little creature, so we need to give it a name. ;0)
Stanley work light June 24, 2010 Percy J. Sewell This is the perfect light when you need the use of both of your hands. I would recommend this product to all of my friends.
